I bought Schwinn Volare bike a couple of days ago and I am really happy with the purchase. I consider this bicycle is a good bike for beginners to exercise or recreational rallying. Yes, you can buy nicer one but not in the less than $250 or so range.
The reason to buy Schwinn Volare was to begin commuting to work. Besides I didn’t want to invest so much money in a bike before be sure that I like it. If I do, later I could upgrade the parts as they break. The brief rides I’ve taken so far it rode really smooth, breaks works perfect, and the seat wasn’t too uncomfortable.
Also it shifts well, the brakes are outstanding. The brakes adjust easily and exactly as to how you like them. Care should be taken until you are use to how well they will stop. This is not a competition bike. It is however a comfortable (with new seat) pleasant quality bike.
It was easy to get together the bike. I didn’t need any additional tune or adjustment. Schwinn Volare bicycle is super light weight at about 42 pounds with thin tires to pick up speed quickly. I really love this bike and the gears are easy to switch and the bike handles the route very good.
The bike needed a little bit more precise adjustment to the derailers but that is typical for any new bike. Since then it’s been running enormously well and has needed zero! Nice lightweight wheels and very solid regular parts create this a super value for the money, and the flat bar is nice for city cruising!
This bike is really good. The welds on the frame are done just perfect and bike seems really safe. The bike is absolutely reliable, so I give two tumbs up and extremely recommend it.
